DUBAI: Shamal Holding, the Dubai-based investment firm behind many of the city’s landmark destinations, has announced an exclusive new development in partnership with Cheval Blanc, the LVMH-owned hospitality brand famed for its emotional luxury experiences.

Set to open in 2029, the maison will be located on a private island in Dubai, offering an intimate beachfront escape surrounded by preserved coastal landscapes and the Arabian Gulf.

This project marks the regional debut of Cheval Blanc and blends its signature elegance with Shamal’s ambitious placemaking vision.

What will it offer?

The maison will include 30 suites and 40 private pool villas, all reflecting Cheval Blanc’s hallmark design – contemporary yet timeless, immersive yet tranquil. In addition, a limited number of branded beachfront residences will be available for ownership, providing exclusive access to the maison’s full range of services.

How will it be designed?

Every element will be carefully curated to enhance the island’s natural surroundings. The architectural and interior design will prioritise light, flow, and effortless elegance, honouring Cheval Blanc’s sophisticated aesthetic while delivering an elevated living experience.

What experiences await?

Rooted in Cheval Blanc’s art de recevoir, the retreat will offer personalised wellness rituals, refined culinary journeys, and curated lifestyle experiences aimed at fostering connection and serenity. The development supports both Cheval Blanc’s selective global expansion and Shamal’s role in reinforcing Dubai’s position as a hub for world-class experiences under the city’s 2030 vision.
